HomeAsiaSouth East AsiaSingapore5-day Budget for Singapore, Legoland, and Sentosa Tour By Marcos Detourist on August 16, 2014These are some budget and expenses notes on my 5-day trip to Singapore and Legoland Malaysia. To start, I haven’t actually tallied the exact totals because each in our group had varying contributions on shared expenses but I will try to estimate how much we spent and list down major costs during the trip to give you an idea.Expenses EstimatesFor two people traveling to Singapore for 5 days using the same itinerary that we did, my estimated budget would be around P25,000 to P26,000 for expenses within Singapore. This is assuming that the travelers will: (1) stay in a hostel for the first two nights; (2) take the 2 night multi-attraction package at Resorts World Sentosa; (3) visit the same theme parks; (4) dine mostly at Hawker-type stalls; (5) ride the public trains, and taxis from time to time, to get around.Add-in the round trip flights from Manila, Manila Airport terminal fee, and Philippine Travel tax, the total expenses should be around P32,000 to P33,000.Travel date — 2014List of expensesPeso EquivalentPre/post trip and Day 1 to 2Iloilo-Manila-Iloilo (round trip) Flight via Philippine AirlinesPHP3,280 per personManila-Singapore-Manila (round trip) Flight via Singapore AirlinesUSD148.93 per personPHP6404 per personManila-NAIA Airport Terminal Fee for International FlightsPHP550 per personPhilippine Travel Tax (for outbound Filipino travelers)PHP1,620 per person[email protected] Clarke Quay Hostel: 2 nights stay at family room (shared bathroom ). We didn’t get to explore most parts of each stop we made (because we wanted to cover more ground), so excluding some and spending more time on each theme park is also a good alternative. In addition, there are a lot of cheap yet worthwhile thrills and activities to do in Singapore like taking self-guided walking tours around its cultural districts and nature parks. It’s possible to do a 5-day trip to Singapore for PHP18,000 to PHP25,000 (including round trip flights from Manila and expenses in Singapore).Don’t leave yet.
