Manila to Baguio via Victory Liner Bus (6 hours) – P440Day 1 – Akiki Trail Day 1 6:00am – ETA Victory Liner Terminal Baguio. 6:15am – ETD Baguio. Chartered Jeepney ride from Baguio City to Badabak, Benguet (2 hours and 45 minutes) 8:45am – ETA Mt. Pulag Ranger Station in Badabak, Benguet Mt. Pulag National Park visitor briefing 9:25am – Jeepney Ride to Akiki Trail jump-off point in Akiki, Kabayan, Benguet (2 hours) 11:20am – ETA Akiki trail jump-off point Packed lunch at the jump-off point 12:30pm – ETD Akiki jump-off point. Start Akiki trail hike 2:15pm – ETA Eddet River 2:30pm – ETD Eddet River. Continue hike to Marlboro Hills campsite 6:00pm – ETA Marlboro Hills campsite Set-up Camp Day 2 6:30am – Wake-up. Breakfast. Break Camp 8:45am – ETD Marlboro Hills. Continue hike to Camp 3 (near Mt. Pulag Summit) 9:30am – ETA Mossy Forest 10:20am – ETA a meadow (just before the Grasslands). Water stop. Rained heavily while at the Grasslands. Had to wear rain coats / poncho. 1:00am – ETA Camp 3 Set-up Camp Late Lunch It was still raining,very cloudy, and there was no clear view at the summit. Cancelled the sunset trek. Dinner inside the tent because it was very cold and wet outside Try to sleep in a flooded tentDay 3 6:00am – Wake-up. Break Camp. Breakfast 9:00am – ETD Camp 3. Continue Hike to Summit 9:34am – ETA Mt. Pulag Summit 10:40am – ETD Mt. Pulag Summit. Start descent via Ambangeg Trail 11:20am – ETA Mossy Forest 1:15pm – Exited Mossy Forest. Continue Hike to Ambangeg jump-off point 3:00pm – ETA Ambangeg jump-off point Jeepney ride to Mt. Pulag Ranger Station to “log off / sign out” 5:15pm – Quick Stopover at Ambuklao Dam Viewdeck Contribution for Mt. Pulag DIY Expenses – P2,600 per person (group of 9). Includes contribution for roundtrip jeepney charters, (5) camp meals, (1) trek guide, (2) porters. 6:30pm – ETA Baguio City. Drop-off at Victory Liner Terminal Taxi ride to Sta. Teresita Inn (Ben Palispis Road, Baguio City) Check-in at Sta. Teresita Inn Fan room with two double beds and two-deck bunk bed – P500 per night (not sure if it was discounted because I was alone) Taxi ride to Session Road Dinner at Sizzling Grill Steakhouse Porterhouse Steak, Double Pork Chop, 5 pcs.
