Night lights of  Kuala Lumpur’s skyline blend gracefully with the soft dusk sky at Lake Titiwangsa, Malaysia.

The lake was an excellent location to take night shots of the Kuala Lumpur skyline, especially because both of the city’s tallest buildings, the Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower, were visible from that vantage point.

I got on the monorail from Bukit Bintang, one of the backpacker havens of KL, to Titiwangsa station around 5:30pm and walked for 30 minutes to Lake Titiwangsa. Set up my tripod at the lake shore and waited until the grey cloudy sky was filled with the soft pastel colors of dusk.

I took this photo at 7:35pm and set the shutter speed to 10 seconds at F8.0 to capture the peaceful ambiance and accentuate the colorful reflection in the water.
