After an exhilarating experience at Kalinga White Water River Rafting, we traveled for an hour down to Tuguegarao City. It was my second time to visit Cagayan Province. The first time was when I backpacked around Northern Luzon two years ago.

The Buntun Bridge is often overlooked by tourists visiting Tuguegarao City in Cagayan Province.
I agree that it’s no feat of human engineering (even in its time of completion) but I was somehow drawn to it.

First up was a quick tour of Tuguegarao’s “centro” and commute to the Basilica of our Lady of Piat.

It all started smoothly enough when I flew to Tuguegarao City, Cagayan Province from Manila.
It was very exciting for me since it was my first time to visit the northernmost parts of Luzon.

As mentioned earlier, I’ve been AFK (away from keyboard) for a while now. It’s still a busy month of traveling for me. Since I started blogging, it has always been my goal to live the lifestyle of other travel bloggers. To be able to travel extensively and frequently for longer periods of time.
