Hi. i find ur website so helpful.. We plan to go to Hong Kong this April.. Unfortunately, we were not able to avail the low fare of Cebu Pacific.. Anyway, I juz want to ask regarding ur total expenses.. u mentione above the following:

Total Expenses – HK$ 3463.4 or Php 21,126.74 per person
Expenses (excluding Airfare) – HK$ 2288.5 or Php 13,959.8 per person

Anu ung P21,126.74/person na total expenses then ung P13,959.80/person? Magkaiba ba to? Ung link mo for the summary of expenses is not working na ata.. anyway, I hope to hear from u regarding my query..

whoa! your comment is very much appreciated too. I’m glad I was of help to you and your group during your trip. I hope I can travel to other places naman in South East Asia so that I can make more itineraries kaso walang budget pa ngayun.

During the trip I got my mem card full as well. I think I got like 16GB worth of pictures, lol. Most of them were useless pero bihira lng maka go out of the country, so sinulit ko nlng

I just want to thank the blog for giving info regarding your hong kong – macau travel we went there last jan. 12-15 and we read all the steps and follow the route its very easy when you have something to read like this one.it really big help for 1st time to travel to HK and Macau. to all the readers just follow and read carefully and you will never get lost…TWO THUMBS UP..thanks for your help and assistance…

bring more 2 or 3 digicam because i made 1000 pics on 2 of our digital camera… sulit ang bakasyon plus we make also a video.heheh…this memory will remained forever…heheheh

yes, there are buses available but I forgot what number. The bus terminal in Tung Chung is just near the MTR Exit.

We did the starferry ride during the weekend. I think they strictly follow their schedule.

If you look to the schedule posted in their website carefully. You will notice a time range and a corresponding frequency. The time range posted there is not the expected time of departure and arrival. Rather it shows the frequency of trips for that time range.

For example

Based on the schedule posted

(On a saturday) From 7:15am – 10:40pm, there will be a starferry boat leaving the pier every 6/8 minutes and from 10:30 – 11:30 pm, it slows down to every 10/12 minutes etc….

The whole Starferry ride from Tsim Sha Tsi to Central only lasts for around 10 minutes.

got some questions, regarding star ferry, do they follow their schedule found http://www.starferry.com.hk/services.html?
i noticed in your post you took a 10:30am star ferry ride from tsim sha tsui to central pier but based on the link there is no 10:30 schedule for Tsim Sha Tsui/Central service… am i missing something?

the Airport Express Tourist Travel Pass is only valid for three consecutive days of use. It’s a good idea to that you decided take the airport express for your return flight since it’s convenient (and you won’t be worrying about missing your plane). I suggest taking the Tourist Travel Pass on the last three days of your trip … or you could just buy a one way ticket in the travel express (without the 3 day unlimited pass).
